This gallery features photos taken along Route 66 in Arizona.  Known as the Mother Road, there is a nostalgic fascination with the highway that once stretched from Chicago to LA.  Today, most of the original highway has been replaced by interstate.  Many of the roadside attractions, restaurants and motels are no longer in business.  Others have found new life as people search out the Mother Road for a bit of nostalgia.
